Nationally, our focus remains on democracy reform, including HR1 (which includes voting rights, gerrymandering reform, campaign finance, and ethics provisions), HR51 (DC Statehood), and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. From our friends at Common Cause and Public Citizen, several opportunities below to engage with voters in key districts.
Monday (Feb 22)
For the People Act (H.R. 1) Phone Bank
House members have reintroduced H.R. 1, the For the People Act, which seeks to preserve our democracy by ending partisan gerrymandering, reducing money’s influence on politics, securing voting rights, improving election security, and fighting corruption. Sign-up here to phone constituents of wavering House Democrats to pressure them to sign on at 6 p.m.
