Syracuse herbal study group is dedicated to offering an affordable, accessible and reliable education in plant medicine while building community across cultures and enhancing the well-being of our CNY neighborhoods. In addition, we aim to create a platform for ongoing work towards the conservation of native plant species while strengthening the human relationship with the natural world.
We acknowledge that our work is done on the ancestral lands of the Onondaga people, fire keepers of the Six Nations of the Haudenosaunee. We stand in support, allyship and partnership with the Onondaga Nation and work to uphold the principles of the Two Row Wampum.
We have been active in the community for 8 years in partnership with the Skanonh Center in Liverpool and we run a direct aid program to area families with the proceeds from our classes.
