Town Hall Meeting on Preserving Democracy
Saturday, March 18, 3-5 pm
Nottingham High School, Syracuse (map)
The CNY Solidarity Coalition has scheduled our first open Town Hall Meeting on Preserving Democracy for Saturday, March 18.
Although he was invited, Congressman John Katko is “unavailable.” Packing the auditorium with folks who want to share their comments, concerns and questions will amp up the pressure to compel Katko to listen to his constituents. People who come will have the opportunity to speak for two minutes. The event will be moderated by Chris Bolt, news director of WAER Radio. It will be livestreamed on Facebook and recorded for later broadcast. Efforts are underway to get strong media coverage. A video recording will also be provided to Rep. Katko.
This is the first in a series of Town Hall meetings being planned by the CNY Solidarity Coalition throughout the 24th Congressional District.
Please share this announcement widely. You can also share the Facebook event.
