Stand With Minnesota – Support Minnesotans Defending Their Communities From ICE
This directory of places to donate comes from Minnesota activists on the ground, plugged into the situation. Everything is vetted, with the exception of individual GoFundMes (not everyone is in their networks, and they don’t want to pick and choose who is worthy of help.)

A core intention of CNY Solidarity Coalition is to bring together and support organizations already out there helping directly affected communities in the Central New York area. Each week we’ll spotlight one of the over 100 organizations in our Directory; there’s a LOT going on!
Interfaith Community Collective
The ICC formed last year as a nonprofit collective formed from many volunteers and through 5 faith communities working together: University United Methodist (where food distribution and the clothing closet have been located for a long time), All Saints Church, Temple Adath, Temple Concord, and Grace Church.
Called to the work of social justice and equity, we provide a welcoming community and share access to life-supporting resources with our Central New York neighbors. We achieve social justice when everyone in Central New York is warm, fed, safe, and thriving.

Reclaiming Our Collective Inheritance: A Palestinian Diaspora Collection
Now through January 17, 2026
Wednesdays-Fridays 2-6pm; Saturdays 12-4pm
505 Hawley Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13203
The Palestinian Thobe is more than an embroidered garment—it is a living archive. For Palestinians in the diaspora, these intricately stitched dresses are tangible connections to a homeland many have never seen, yet fiercely carry within them. Each motif tells a story—of identity, ancestral village, and unbroken resilience. Tragically, many Thobes have been lost to time, war, and dispossession—from heirloom dresses smuggled out of Palestine to stolen Thobes rediscovered in antique markets, their narratives preserved only in the whispers of fading thread.

Syracuse Street Heat is just one, very unencumbered way to work for peace and social justice. We’re part of a decades-long grassroots tradition here, in Ithaca and elsewhere. We stand out and stand up for what we stand for.
A handful of us stand at busy intersections, for 45 minutes at rush hour, pivoting to the traffic with hand-held signs. We want to get the public thinking about issues often underrepresented in the media. We’re there weekly in almost all of Syracuse’s weather (we seldom cancel). Bring your own sign – or use one of ours. No meetings or committees, so participation time is minimal (yay!) Our Team: Ann, Dick, Ed, Geoff, Jim, Julienne, Les, Leslie, Peter….
To learn more, call Ann or Ed: (315) 478 4571.
