Please come, share your thoughts/concerns and be heard! Even if you’re not into public speaking, in person attendance is key to the passing of the moratorium!!! GreeningUSA Annual Meeting Friday, May 08, 08:30 AM – 11:30 AM Philanthropy Center, 431 E Fayette St. Syracuse The 22nd Annual Meeting will begin with a report of GreeningUSA’s activities followed by presentation of GreeningUSA’s “Sustaining Our Community” 2025 awards to recognize people, organizations and projects demonstrating leadership and commitment to sustainability embodied in GreeningUSA’s 12 Traits of Sustainable Communities. The concluding segment of the meeting will give attendees an opportunity to engage with three members of the Onondaga County Legislature who will join us to share their ideas, plans and objectives as Onondaga County prepares to become a hub for memory chip manufacturing.

NONVIOLENCE ACTION TRAINING SAT., May 16, 9am-3:30pm: Register to receive location All Saints Parish & Syracuse Cultural Workers will host a NONVIOLENCE ACTION TRAINING for community members who want to deepen their understanding of nonviolent campaigns and prepare for thoughtful, disciplined participation within the context of immigration reform. The training will focus on the principles and practices of nonviolent action, personal readiness, and the shared responsibility that comes with collective efforts for justice. Over 1.1 million children in New York are breathing extremely unhealthy levels of air pollution — and the diesel buses that take them to and from school every day are part of the problem.
