Sign the Petition – Yale, Don’t Cave! In June, news broke that Yale was negotiating with the regime over the Department of Justice’s politically-motivated investigation into the university’s admissions practices. Instead of standing up for students, McInnis is complying in advance and giving in to the classic authoritarian playbook that targets academic institutions and silences dissent. McInnis must defend students and reject Trump’s weaponization of the DOJ to push his fascist agenda at Yale. If Trump gets his way, we know he won’t stop with Yale — academic freedom for students on every college campus in the US will be in jeopardy. Local Indivisibles are actively involved in this fight, and Indivisible National is joining in to support students, alumni, and faculty. Education is a key part of our Courage Collectives program and we are committed to continuing to organize within these foundational societal pillars to resist authoritarianism. If you have any Yale affiliation, you can sign the petition to tell Yale and President McInnis to refuse to cave to Trump.

Join Neighbors For A Better Micron Neighbors For A Better Micron is an association of residents who are Micron’s close neighbors. They filed a lawsuit in January 2026 because, in the words of its president, “our local and state governments have yet to address a core question: Has the company done enough to guarantee us that the economic benefits of its “mega-fab” will outweigh a range of potential negative impacts? Becoming a member of this group means supporting their association’s general mission of encouraging Micron to be a good neighbor. It does not mean you’re part of any legal actions they take, and regardless of whether you choose to join as a member, you will not be personally liable for the lawsuit. There are many other ways to help accomplish our mission unrelated to the lawsuit, such as helping organize events, attending meetings, or conducting educational outreach. Onondaga County Board Of Elections Preparations On August 13, Onondaga County Election Commissioner Dustin Czarny met with the CNY Solidarity Coordinating Committee. He described the work that the Board Of Elections is doing to ensure this year’s Midterm Election is conducted as smoothly as possible. He shared a great deal of very useful information, and agreed to be the featured speaker at our Sunday, September 13 General Meeting. Dustin offered three important things everyone should do NOW by visiting onvote.net: - Check your registration status, and keep checking periodically up until you vote
- Due to the way the US Postal Service has been degraded by the current regime, if you plan to vote by mail, APPLY ONLINE NOW and RETURN YOUR BALLOT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
- Become an Election Inspector
A Transcript of Dustin’s presentation to the Coordinating Committee is available on our website.
