Wednesday (Jan 17)

Call Senator Schumer about the Dream Act. Funding for the government runs out on January 19. We must demand that the budget deal include a clean Dream Act. Call Senator Schumer (202-224-6542 or 315-423-5471), who has not yet promised to withhold his vote if there is no clean retention of DACA. Urge him to only vote for a bill that allows immigrants who came here as children to remain. More information here

Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Funding The government funding plan that must be adopted before Friday has to include CHIP funding. Tell John Katko (315-423-5657 (Syracuse), 315-253-4068 (Auburn), or 202-225-3701 (DC)) to make sure this program is promptly and fully funded.
