If it comes to that, defending the election results may require mass, sustained, non-violent demonstrations nationwide. Right to Know Act at Common Council Meeting at 1:00 p.m.
The Right to Know Act would require Syracuse police officers to identify themselves, tell people why they’re being stopped, and ask for consent if a search is intended. The bill is on the Common Council Agenda for today’s 1:00 p.m. meeting. You can attend via the web, go to http://www.syrgov.net/City_Hall.aspx and go to the calendar tab on the left hand side of the page to locate sign-in information.
Reach out to Voters in CNY
Dana Balter’s campaign has daily phone-banking events on Zoom and regular text-banking events as well. Many of the events are run jointly with other local progressive campaigns. Check the list here and sign up. This is a close election, and our participation in getting voters out will be decisive.

Every Tuesday at 7pm, we’ll gather on Zoom while we reach out to voters in key states/districts targeted by Indivisible. Zoom link will be distributed Tuesday morning on the Indivisible NY24 email list. You can only participate in text-banking if you’ve completed the online training, but letter-writing is open to all. If anyone prefers to try phone-banking with Indivisible’s platform, please let us know.
