Action Alerts – Week of November 9

CNY Solidarity members and supporters:
Please find below the weekly ACTION ALERTS from Indivisible NY24.

Let’s celebrate our role in powering the successful resistance to Donald Trump and all our hard work in the run-up to the November 3 election. In light of the need to rejuvenate, this will be a light action alert.

It looks like both Senate races in Georgia are headed to a run-off, which will determine whether the Republicans retain control of the Senate. Accordingly, we start our action alerts with a plea for help in Georgia.

Today (Nov 9)

Help Georgia Turn Blue

Stacey Abrams’ organizing efforts played a big role in helping Democrats make a strong showing in this formerly deeply red state. Her efforts will prove critical to enabling Democrats to take Georgia’s two Senate seats in the expected run-offs.  Please consider making a donation and volunteering to help her group, Fair Fight: https://fairfight.com/. The opportunities to text or call Georgia voters show up by clicking on “Join our Fight” under the “Get Involved” heading at the bottom of the page. (The donation opportunity is hard to miss).

You’re receiving this email because you’re subscribed to the CNY Solidarity Coalition announcements list. This is a low-volume list (typically no more than 4-6 messages per week), which now has more than 2,000 subscribers. We also maintain higher-volume listservs as venues for discussion of general Coalition-wide issues (discussion-cnysolidarity), key state and local action team organizing priorities (stateleg-cnysolidarity), and key Indivisible NY24 organizing priorities (IndivisibleNY24). The latter list includes more frequent action alerts and information about local electoral campaigns supported by Indivisible. If you’d like to be added to any of these lists, please reply to me and let me know which ones.
