Demonstrate Against Drone Terrorism

Organized by Upstate Drone Action

On August 29, 2021 in Kabul, Afghanistan U.S. Reaper drones wiped out a local family of ten, including seven children. The military chain of command claimed those victims were terrorists. In its self-investigation it found no one in the chain of command responsible for the massacre.

Recently the New York Times featured a page 1 article on  “Hidden Files Bare Military Failures in Deadly Strikes: High-Flying Drones and Precision Bombs Regularly Hit Innocent Targets.”

Public Hearing on the County Legislature Redistricting Maps:

11:30 a.m.  Wednesday, Dec. 29. 

 OnCenter ballroom, 800 S. State St., Syracuse.

Opponents of the Onondaga County Legislature’s latest district maps will have one more chance to make an argument to County Executive Ryan McMahon. McMahon has scheduled a public hearing on the latest round of maps Legislators voted 9-8 last Tuesday to approve the latest maps. McMahon has 10 days to hold a public hearing and either sign the local law or veto it.

National Vigil to Mark 1 Year Since January 6th

Join this national action to underscore the threats facing our democracy. Call on the Senate and the President to protect democracy through passing the federal legislation, including the Freedom to Vote Act and the Protecting Our Democracy Act.
