Onondaga Co. social services workers walk out, call on county to address ‘staffing crisis’

“The workers walked off the job, calling on the county to address what they say is a staffing crisis within the department. Workers say other counties across the state are also dealing with worker shortages, but say those counties are providing pay raises, retention bonuses, sign-on bonuses and more time off.”
