Tell Governor Hochul to Sign the Data Center Moratorium Bill Today! On June 4, we scored an incredible victory with the Legislature’s passage of a bill establishing a one-year moratorium on new data centers in New York. The next step: Governor Hochul must sign this critical legislation into law! The explosion of data centers is one of the worst affordability and environmental threats facing New York, risking more fossil fuel pollution, strained water resources, and rising utility bills.
Urge Governor Hochul to stand with the people, not the polluters, and press the pause button on data centers in New York now! Send a Message to the Governor!

Tell New York Times, The Atlantic, and USA Today to keep the crucial work of journalists in the Wayback Machine! The news isn’t getting preserved in the Wayback Machine anymore because major media outlets are blocking it. Sign this petition to demand for them to stop.

De-ICE Citizens Bank Protest
The 6/12/26 Pop-up Honk and Wave is canceled. We are directing activists to the De-ICE Citizens Bank protest on 6/13/26 10-12pm, 3524 West Genesee St, Fairmount. Join us June 13 to tell Citizens Bank to stop funding for-profit prison companies CoreCivic and GEO Group. These companies are making hundreds of millions of dollars by colluding with ICE to violate our neighbors human and Constitutional rights, and are doing so without independent oversight. No company should profit from harmful detention practices without consequences. We demand that Citizens Bank publicly sever business ties with CoreCivic and GEO Group. More Information

Support Term Limits, Vacancies & Pedestrian Safety in Onondaga County!! Thursday, June 11 at 1:00pm County Executive’s Conference Room, 14th Floor, Civic Center, 421 Montgomery St, Syracuse Onondaga Democrat Legislators have passed three good governance local laws that are heading to the County Executive for him to sign or veto. He is required to hold a public hearing on these local laws before he decides. Let’s Show Up & Share Our Support for these good governance laws. Here are the details of each local law & public hearing: - 1:00pm – Ensure the safety of vulnerable road users in Onondaga County
- This local law defines establishing a 3 foot minimum passing distance for motor vehicles to pass pedestrians.
- 1:05pm – Amend the County Charter to impose Term Limits on the County Executive
- If signed, this would send this proposition to the ballot this November for the voters to decide if the county executive position should have a 12-year term limit on the office of County Executive, which currently has no limit. In 2025, voters overwhelmingly voted in favor of 12 year term limits on county legislators.
- 1:10pm – Amend the County Charter for the County Legislature to appoint vacancies to the Legislature
- This amendment gives the County Legislature the power to appoint a replacement in the county legislature, who will then serve until the next possible election, when voters will choose who fills the seat for the rest of the term. Currently the county executive appoints a replacement. If signed, this proposition would go before the voters this November. Read More Here
Let’s show up at the County Executive’s public hearings on these laws and share why we support these changes! Come to speak at one or all three!
