Ongoing Efforts: - Neighbor-2-Neighbor: CNYSC and IOC are encouraging all members to join or set up a group chat on Signal with their own like-minded geographic neighbors. Click here to get connected. For follow-up questions, please contact us.
- Many of our members are focused on this year’s midterm elections as this is one of the biggest ways to make progress on many issues we continue to fight for. In 2025, voters in Onondaga County elected the first Democratic majority to the County Legislature in nearly 50 years. Meet the legislators and candidates who want to keep and expand this majority at our next meeting on Sunday, October 11 at 3:00pm. Sign up here to RSVP.
- The CNY Solidarity Coalition has three protests in the works right now with various parts to each, all being organized by a small team. We could use more dedicated activists involved in planning and managing protests. If you would like to be involved, please contact us!
- The 2026 Indigenous Peoples’ Day Festival will be held on October 10 on unceded Onondaga land at Tsha’ Thon’nhes (Where They Play Ball), 3370 State Rte. 11A, Nedrow. They are currently seeking volunteers to help make this event a success. Please click here. CNY Solidarity will also have an information table during the Festival; sign up for a shift here
