Support IDA reform and restore funding to public schools! Across New York, Industrial Development Agencies (IDAs) are allowed to waive school taxes without regard for how it’ll impact our school districts. It’s time to change that. By prohibiting IDAs from waiving school taxes, communities can ensure that their local public schools are fiscally strong and are able to provide the enrichment and educational programs that current and prospective students and their families need.

Keep Pesticide Immunity Out of the Farm Bill Due to overwhelming public opposition, the U.S. House of Representatives removed dangerous pesticide immunity provisions from the Farm Bill before passing it — a major victory for farmers, families, and the right of We The People to hold pesticide manufacturers accountable in court. Now the Senate must do the same. We are calling on every U.S. Senator to ensure that no pesticide immunity language is included in the Senate version of the Farm Bill, and that these reckless provisions are not quietly added back during reconciliation with the House bill.

Economic Power Where we choose to spend our money and time is one of our greatest collective strengths. Every purchase we make, and every time we just show up to help, we demonstrate our values and progressive ideals for human rights, labor rights, social justice, and environmental protection.
Brokovich Data Center Reporting If you remember the name “Erin Brokovich”, you may wonder what the environmental activist has been up to recently. In her words: The RACE to build AI infrastructures is unfolding town by town across America. In some places, data centers are welcomed. In others, they are delayed, contested or abandoned altogether. I am watching as YOU, the communities show up and speak out. In the famous words of Mark Twain … “The secret of getting ahead is getting started,” so let’s go!
